Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Wuno Studio for the Juno iPhone app. The Privacy Policy is part of using Juno. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

For the license that covers the app as downloaded from Apple, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also applies. If these terms and that license conflict on a point Apple requires, Apple’s license controls.

The app

Juno lets you point an iPhone camera at a shelf, read barcodes and spine text, and see resale signals for books that meet filters you set. Prices and sales ranks are estimates for your own research. They are not an offer to buy a book from us, and they are not a promise of what a book will sell for. Condition, edition, and demand change the price. Check the listing yourself before you buy or sell.

Account

You need Sign in with Apple. You must be able to form a contract. Juno is not for children under 13. You are responsible for activity on your account.

You can delete the account in Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes the Juno account and the data described in the Privacy Policy. It does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Subscription

Juno requires an auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple to your Apple ID. The plans offered in the app are:

• Monthly: $14.99 per month
• Annual: $149.99 per year

Prices are in US dollars before tax. The App Store may show a local price. If your Apple ID is eligible, the purchase button offers a 7-day free trial. If you are not eligible, the button is Subscribe and payment starts when you confirm.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We cannot cancel Apple billing from inside Juno.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where Apple’s rules say so.
• Refunds are handled by Apple.

Signing in does not start a trial by itself. A trial or paid period starts only after Apple accepts a subscription. Restore Purchases attaches an Apple subscription that is still active to the Juno account you are signed into, including a new account created after you deleted an old one.

Acceptable use

You may use Juno to research books, including for reselling. You may not copy or resell the app, break its security, overload the service, or use it to break the law.

Other services

The app can open an eBay or Amazon search for an ISBN. Those sites are not operated by us, and we are not affiliated with them. Their terms apply once you leave Juno.

Apple

These terms are between you and Wuno Studio, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or for claims related to it. Apple has no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple license and may enforce it.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that a price, rank, or book match is accurate, complete, or current, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for money you spend or fail to make because of information in the app. Our total liability for a claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us through Apple for Juno in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using Juno after the update, the new terms apply. Subscription price changes are also shown by Apple before you are charged.
